Welcome to DanceAddictionYXE, Saskatoon's source partner dancing for learning West Coast Swing, Nightclub Two-Step, and Country Two-Step.
We run a weekly drop-in set of lessons for west coast swing at Studio 301, 301 1st Ave N, followed by a social dance.
We also offer regularly-scheduled and levelled dance classes in the following partner and solo dances:
- west coast swing
- nightclub two step
- country two-step
- line dancing
Additionally, we provide lessons for couples getting ready for their first dance on their wedding day.
DanceAddictionYXE is run by husband-and-wife duo Katie and Lorne Jensen, who bring years of experience dancing, competing, and teaching in partner dances to their classroom experience. We promise that whether you're a brand new beginner or seasoned veteran, you will learn something new that you can immediately use on the social dance floor.
Drop-in Classes
Weekly drop-in classes for west coast swing are offered on Thursday
evenings at Studio 301 at 301 1st Ave N:
- Level 2 - 7:15 - 7:45 PM
- Level 1 - 7:45 - 8:30 PM
Level 1 doesn't require any partner or experience.
Level 2 requires working knowledge of the 6-count basics
of west coast swing.

Social Dances
Join us on the second Saturday of every month for a lesson and social dance! Dress-up themes for each night!
Time: 7:30 - 8:30 PM Lesson
Level 1: Big Studio
Level 2: Blue Studio
8:30 - 10:30 PM - Social Dance
Cost: $15 lesson, $15 dance, or $25 for both

- Do I need a partner to sign up?
No you do not! We rotate partners frequently throughout the class to give everyone a chance to dance.
- Where are the classes located?
Group classes and social dances are hosted at 819 29th St W, with the entrance behind the convenience store.
Private lessons are typically run out of the 29th street studio or our home studio.
- I have training in other dance styles, can I skip learning the beginner classes?
We recommend that all new dancers, whether experienced in other styles or not, learn the basics of west coast swing, as there is a lot of nuance to the dance which doesn't appear in other dance styles.
