Dance Addiction YXE

Welcome to DanceAddictionYXE, Saskatoon's source for learning West Coast Swing, Nightclub Two-Step, and Country Two-Step.

We offer regularly-scheduled and levelled classes in west coast swing, as well as pop-up workshops for nightclub and country two-step. Additionally, we provide lessons for couples getting ready for their first dance on their wedding day.

DanceAddiction is run by husband-and-wife duo Katie and Lorne Jensen, who bring years of experience dancing, competing, and teaching in partner dances to their classroom experience. We promise that whether you're a brand new beginner or seasoned veteran, you will learn something new that you can immediately use on the social dance floor.

I loved that there was a lot of repetition and constant partner switches. Also the late starting time was not as bad I thought it would be.

Frequently asked questions

Have a different question and can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Reach out by sending us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Do I need a partner to sign up?

No you do not! We rotate partners frequently throughout the class to give everyone a chance to dance.

Where are the classes located?

Most group classes are run out of Saskatoon Salsa on 33rd St. Private lessons are typically run out of our home studio.

I have training in other dance styles, can I skip learning the beginner classes?

We recommend that all new dancers, whether experienced in other styles or not, learn the basics of west coast swing, as there is a lot of nuance to the dance which doesn't appear in other dance styles.
