​Andrew has been focusing exclusively on West Coast Swing since 2008. He is recognized as the top WCS professional in Alberta and has achieved multiple first-place across his divisions. He actively trains with top coaches and competes on the WCS circuit, representing Calgary and Canada at international events.

Andrew began his dance journey at 13 years old in Winnipeg. Guilted into lessons at a Ballroom studio by his mother, it took only a single lesson and Andrew was instantly hooked! Months later, he was participating in his first competition, dancing pro-am Two-step. Andrew knew from a young age that he wanted to be a professional, and he’s been dancing ever since!

Throughout his dance history, he has trained, performed, competed and won awards in a variety of styles - International Standard & Latin, American Smooth & Rhythm, Salsa, Country and WCS Swing.

Andrew directs the JT Swing Teams Calgary, coaching Junior Varsity and Varsity levels. Additionally, he teaches regularly scheduled WCS classes in Calgary where people of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to move and experience the joy of dance!
